Referenced from international and domestic textile classification standards, textile raw materials classification standard and commodity classification standard of Chinese commercial statistics, complying with the principle of commodity classification classified according to raw materials and usage, combined with the feature of Keqiao textile market, we now has classified textiles, raw materials and accessories which are in our sample ranges into five main categories, 35 secondary categories and 288 lowest categories. The category index of price index and prosperity index is based on the above mentioned categories. Due to small output and sales volume in some textile categories and their short time in the market, the index will be adjusted accordingly. Textile import and export index are divided into 10 main categories and 40 secondary categories according to the classification of national customs export materials and become the base of export index category system.
